Kupwara, May 09 (KB): Kupwara Police has arrested two persons involved in illegal sale of narcotics in Diver Lalpora area of Lolab.
Police spokesperson in a statement issued here to Kashmir Bulletin --- KB said that, Acting on a specific information that two persons are illegally selling narcotics among youth in Margi Diver area of Lalpora Police Station , a team of Police led by SHO Lalpora Mushtaq Ahmad conducted a raid and apprehended the two peddlers who have been identified as Farooq Ahmad Mir son of Gulab Din Mir resident of Diver and Arshad Ahmed Mughal son of Ab Majeed Mughal resident of Sever Lolab.
Contraband charas weighing about 200 grams has been recovered from the duo and investigations are on to find out more details into the case.
FIR No. 25/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Lalpora into the matter, reads a statement. (Kashmir Bulletin --- KB)
