Army organises friendly cricket match in Dailgam Anantnag

Army organised a friendly cricket match on monday in dailgam area of south kashmirs Anantnag district with an aim of "strengthening the ties between Army and locals".
The match was played between Dailgam Sports and Ruhoo Sports.The match was played of 6 six overs in which Ruhoo sports set target of 38 runs and Dailgam sports team chase it easily and defeat opponent team.

The friendly match was organised by 19 Rashtriya rifles Dailgam COB under supervision of Major Prateek Jhadav.The aim of organising such events Keep youths far from drug addiction and helping to boost exposure among talented players of area.
Young players while speaking with media said that "these events are helpful in enhancing synergy, cementing trust and ensuring relation among locals and the Army".
Major Prateek Jhadav told "Cricket has been traditionally a popular game and followed passionately by people of all ages. It also provides an opportunity to local youth for showcasing their talent,"
Later on Prizes were distributed among winning team players and refreshments also done by Army.Players thanked to Major Prateek for organinsing such events for providing platform for talented cricketers.
